YTCut tries 9 different download strategies before giving up. If all fail, the video is probably region-locked, private, or YouTube temporarily changed something on their end. Wait a few minutes and try again. Age-restricted videos work fine with Server mode, which is the default.

Can I download age-restricted YouTube videos?

Yes. Server mode uses authenticated cookies and bypass techniques that handle age-restricted content. No extra steps needed on your end.

Is it legal to cut YouTube videos?
